The Collingswood Junior Womens Club is an organization dedicated first and foremost to making a direct impact on the wellbeing and progress of the Collingswood community. The Clubs mission is to provide opportunities for education, leadership training, and community service, all of which are goals of the Clubs mother organization, the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs (NJSFWC).
The Club achieves these goals by sponsoring local events and fundraisers, which first seek to advance Collingswood schools, Collingswood businesses, and the overall Collingswood community, while simultaneously serving the statewide projects and programs supported by the NJSFWC.
In addition, the NJSFWC is a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), one of the largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organizations in the world.
Our Club provides an opportunity for women from Collingswood, Westmont, and other surrounding areas to join together and make a difference in our communities.
Annually, the Club is responsible for organizing local activities such as the Fall Fest, Santa Brunch (& Lunch!), and the Fourth of July Bike Parade in addition to many others. The club also participates in local events such as Collingswood's Green Festival, May Fair, and Book Festival to name a few.
To learn more about who we are, and what we do, please read this year's Letter from the President.
Club meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm (with the exception of July and August, when the Club goes on summer break), in the Peter Childs Room at the Collingswood Public Library.
